The animal species would have a greater tolerance range to temperature change over plant species. This is because animals are able adapt to the changing conditions through behavioural and physiological adaptations. For example when polar bears are cold they huddle together for warmth or human put on or take of layers of clothing. Plants can adapt to their environment although animals have more ability to adapt to extreme temperatures.
